• You own or have the right to submit the content
• The content does not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights
• The content does not contain false, defamatory, or unlawful information

You retain full ownership of your submitted content and the optimized output delivered to you.

4. AI-Generated Output Disclaimer

The optimized CV produced by Polishd is generated using artificial intelligence. While we strive for high quality output, we make no guarantees that:

• The output will result in job interviews, offers, or any specific career outcome
• The content will be free of errors, inaccuracies, or omissions
• The output will pass all applicant tracking systems (ATS) or meet every employer's requirements

You are responsible for reviewing the output before submitting it to any employer. We strongly recommend reviewing and editing the AI-generated content to ensure accuracy and authenticity.

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Submit content that is fraudulent, misleading, or intended to misrepresent your qualifications
• Circumvent or attempt to reverse-engineer the Service
• Resell or redistribute the Service or its outputs without written permission
• Submit malicious code, viruses, or harmful data
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law

6. Intellectual Property

The Polishd name, logo, website design, and underlying technology are the intellectual property of the Company. The AI-generated output delivered to you is yours to use freely for personal and professional purposes. We claim no ownership over your optimized CV.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Polishd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of employment, income, or career opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the results will meet your expectations.

Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and — critically — what we do not do with it. Polishd is designed with a privacy-first approach: we do not store, retain, or sell your CV data.

13. Data Retention

CV content is deleted immediately after your optimized result is delivered. We do not retain copies. Technical logs may be retained for up to 90 days for security purposes, after which they are deleted.
